Acceptable use

This policy forms part of our terms of use and applies to everyone who accesses the site.

Automated access

Search engine crawlers are welcome within the limits set by our robots.txt. Any other automated access, including scraping, headless browsing and bulk downloading, needs written permission. We rate limit and block traffic that puts load on the service or copies the data compilation.

Our listings, benchmarks and page structures are protected by copyright and database rights. Extracting a substantial part, repeatedly or otherwise, is an infringement.

Prohibited behaviour

• attempting to deanonymise an employer or an individual behind a listing
• posting or transmitting unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory or infringing material
• impersonating another person, firm or KnowQaunt
• introducing malware, probing for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfering with other users
• using contact details found on the site to send unsolicited approaches or bulk email

Security research

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, email legal@know-quant.com with enough detail to reproduce it. Please do not access other people's data, degrade the service or disclose publicly before we have had a reasonable chance to fix it. We will acknowledge within five working days and we will not pursue good faith research that follows this process.

Enforcement

We may warn, rate limit, suspend or permanently block access, remove content, and where appropriate report activity to the authorities or take legal action.
