These terms apply when you apply for a role, upload a CV or ask us to represent you. They sit alongside our privacy and data policy.
Our status
Where we introduce you to an employer for permanent work we act as an employment agency, and where we supply temporary work we act as an employment business, within the meaning of the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
No fee to you
We never charge a work seeker a fee for finding or seeking to find you work. Our fees are paid by the employer. We will not make an introduction conditional on you buying any other service.
Consent before every introduction
We do not send your CV or contact details to any employer without your specific agreement for that role. We tell you which employer, the role, the location, the pay range on offer and the type of work before you decide.
What we do with your CV
We store it securely, read it to assess relevance, and use anonymised, aggregated signals from it to improve our market benchmarks. Aggregate outputs never identify you, your employer or your pay. We keep your details for 24 months from your last contact, then delete them or ask if you want to stay on file.
What we ask of you
- give accurate information about your experience, qualifications and right to work
- tell us promptly if your circumstances or availability change
- tell us if you are already in process with an employer we suggest
- do not include third party confidential or proprietary material in anything you send
We may ask for evidence of qualifications or right to work where a role requires it, and we will tell you why.
Equal treatment
We assess every candidate on merit against the requirements of the role. We do not discriminate on any protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010, and we will not act on a discriminatory instruction from a client.
No guarantee
We cannot guarantee an interview, an offer, a salary level or the accuracy of information a third party gives us about a role. Employer requirements change without notice.
Withdrawing
You can withdraw at any time by emailing privacy@know-quant.com. We stop representing you, withdraw live introductions where we still can, and delete your data on request unless we must keep a record by law.
Complaints
Email hello@know-quant.com and we will acknowledge within two working days and respond substantively within ten. If you remain unhappy about a recruitment matter you can contact the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate; for data matters you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office.
