We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations we only set non essential ones after you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.
Categories
Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to work: your consent choice, sign in session and security tokens. These are always on and do not require consent.
Preferences. Your saved searches, watchlist, comparison list, density and light or dark desk mode. These are stored in your own browser so the site remembers how you like it. Nothing here is shared with a third party.
Analytics. Aggregated measurement of which pages are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve the content. These only run if you accept them.
We do not use advertising or cross site tracking cookies, and we do not sell any data collected through cookies.
What we set
- kq.cookie-consent (necessary, 12 months). Records your consent choice so we do not ask again.
- Authentication session (necessary, session or up to 7 days). Keeps you signed in to the admin area if you have an account.
- kq.saved-searches (preference, persistent local storage). Your saved filters and alert settings.
- kq.theme (preference, persistent local storage). Light or dark desk mode.
- Product analytics (analytics, up to 13 months). Page views and interaction counts, held in aggregate.
Pages that embed a video or a map may set cookies from that provider when the embed loads. Those embeds only load with your analytics consent, or after you click to play.
Changing your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change or withdraw consent. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which resets everything including your saved searches.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign in and the consent banner will reappear on each visit.
