Employer terms

These terms apply to firms that engage us to hire, or that receive a candidate introduction from us. Any signed agreement between us takes precedence where the two conflict.

Introductions

An introduction happens when we give you a candidate's identity or CV. If you, or any group company, engage that candidate within twelve months of the introduction, whether in the role discussed or another one, our fee is payable.

Fees

Fees are agreed in writing before we begin a search, and are calculated on the candidate's first year total fixed remuneration unless we agree otherwise. Invoices are payable within 14 days of the start date. Rebate terms, where agreed, are set out in the signed agreement.

Your obligations

• give us accurate role, location, pay range and eligibility information
• tell us promptly if the role is filled, paused or changed
• keep candidate data confidential, use it only to assess that candidate for the role discussed, and delete it when the process closes
• comply with the Equality Act 2010 in every instruction you give us

You are an independent controller of any candidate data we pass to you, and you are responsible for your own compliance with UK GDPR from the point of receipt.

Listings and anonymity

Where we publish a vacancy we may present the employer as an anonymised descriptor. Every published listing must carry a real location and a pay range, either stated by you or shown as a labelled indicative band derived from our benchmarks. We will not publish a role we cannot verify.

Market data

Aggregated, anonymised insight derived from a search, including pay levels and time to hire, may be used in our published benchmarks. Nothing that identifies your firm, a candidate or a specific offer is published without your written agreement.

Liability

We take reasonable care in selecting and referencing candidates, but you remain responsible for your own hiring decisions, including verification of qualifications, references and right to work. Our liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid to us for that engagement, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
